10/15/2014 On Wednesday, Oct. 1st, NATOA presented the Harford County Office of Information and Communication Technology with their 2014 Community Broadband Fiber Network of the Year award, in recognition of their efforts on the Harford Metro Area Network (HMAN). KCI provided turnkey design, build and maintenance services for the installation of the high-speed fiber optic network.
KCI led efforts to develop and implement a geospatial data exchange (GDX), a tool that streamlines data sharing across the region and allows planners and emergency managers access to the information they need to make real-time and possibly life-saving decisions.
KCI's spring Innovator magazine highlights varied compliance efforts to meet the EPA’s total maximum daily load (TMDL) for the Chesapeake Bay, streamlining data collection and reporting using a new mobile field application, and Houston’s first Greenroads certified corridor.
